Moral Authority

Arguments are battles for who is right and who is wrong, so any time anyone argues over right and wrong, they are doing battle for moral authority.

It is generally understood that opinions cannot be wrong. Perception is understanding bound by human limitations and fallibility, which makes perception subjective.  Right and wrong must be objective else they are opinion.

Right and wrong require objective judgement, and people can only perceive.
